This was a last minute overnight booking. Bellevue Boutique Lodge is run by Liz and Steve. We only met Liz, she was fantastic and accommodating, making our visit very comfortable in every way. She provided a welcome fruit and cheese platter, a wonderful breakfast in the morning and room (5) with a balcony with wonderful little touches and a beautiful view over lake Taupo. Liz gave us lots of trip guidance and a small birthday present for my wife (unexpected). We wanted to extend our stay by one mre night, but the Lodge was fully booked. Would highly recommend and stay again.

The reception we received was exceptional. Our hosts have a wonderful home with an outstanding view of the lake, There was an unexpected generous cold plate of cheese in our room fridge which was really appreciated after a long drive. The breakfast which loosely could have been called continental was an imaginative range of cold dishes which would not have looked out of place in a 5 star hotel,

On arrival we were well informed by Lizz about the B&B and what to do in the area. Lizz was also available for a chat about life in New Zealand (of course also about items) The rooms were excellent (even better than expected based on the information we found on the internet) The breakfast (musly, cereals, fruit, fresh fruit juice, sandwiches) was excellent and sufficient. In the evening you could have a hot dinner upon request. The location was excellent for our trips to Rotorua and to Tongarino national parcs

Liz and Steve were absolutely great hosts. Always up for a chat and great with ideas as to what would be worth a look and guidance in what we could do. The attentention to detail of the place was great and the room we stayed in (4) was lovely. The place was always clean and well made up every day. We stayed for 5 nights.

A very nice lodge with fantastic view of the lake Taupo. Just a few minutes drive to popular tourist spots. The room is well maintained with attention to detail. Liz and Steve are absolutely amazing hosts. They’ve prepared everything you need during the stay. Highly recommend.

Great location. Peaceful with great views, but close enough to town to pop in for lunch, dinner, shopping. Steve and Liz were great hosts. Room came with all needed amenities and extras like charcuterie and chocolate provided.

It was home from home, you wanted for nothing! Everything you could possibly want was accommodated for, which made our stay relaxing and comfortable. The lodge was set in beautiful grounds with an amazing view of the lake. The accommodation was perfect in every way.

Exceptional Boutique high end property outstanding attention to detail around the accommodation & with the ensuite bedrooms. Luxury & comfort combined. The Evenjng meal we booked was one of the best we have ever had. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Liz & Steve. We will certainly be back.

Everything, was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and had stunning views. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. They also did a laundry service which was such a lovely extra.
